Sleeping Fluttershy (3D graphics)
A quiet pegasus, asleep in an ivy-covered gazebo at the edge of the Everfree Forest.
Fluttershy is one of the main characters in My Little Pony: Friendship is magic, which recently ended in season 9, which began in 2010 as an advertisement for Hasbro toys of the same name, but quickly and unexpectedly became international a phenomenon far beyond the target audience. In the center of the plot is a group of six dissimilar characters led by the unicorn Twilight Sparkle, who learn from their mistakes of friendship and mutual understanding, grow up and between times over and over again save their conditional fantasy kingdom from various threats, withstanding all the tests. Each of the heroes personifies one or another Element of Harmony (a magical artifact that multiplies strength and serves at the same time as an allegory of one or another psychological quality), and the introverted Fluttershy, who gets along better with animals than with other people, is responsible for Kindness and Compassion.
The environment itself was inspired in part by Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films.
The main character model was sculpted in Sculptris, retopology in Instant Meshes, fabric simulation in Marvelous Designer, assembly and scene modeling in 3ds Max (ivy modeling in Ivy Generator, falling leaves and other details in Debris Maker script, feathers in script CT Feather Generator), rendering in Corona; texturing, flattening of renders and color correction were carried out in Adobe Photoshop. We also used tree models from the site 3ddd.ru (1, 2, 3) and textures from sites Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay & HDRI Heaven.
The goal of the project was to continue learning 3D graphics (for now) on my own, to do something simpler this time than the last time (maybe I'll come back to Preyfield's portrait later) and work out the pipeline / scheme of work for myself, starting with blocking and finishing with color correction.
