Spock (Star Trek)

Live long and prosper… Spock Vulcan Spock from the famous Star Trek show and sci-fi film series (the old ones, before the Abrams reboot, were very good - although his new films are also quite nothing for adrenaline-fueled sci-fi action films at one time, which is for Star Trek, however, not very good). A cool character played by Leonard Nimoy - half human, half Vulcan, exploring his humanity and seeking a balance between mind and…

D.VA, Angel and Tracer (Overwatch)

I have long wanted to draw someone else from the heroes of the cute online post-shoot Overwatch (after Mei and the less successful healer Mercy), and in color and close enough to the style of play. It was difficult to choose one of them, so I complicated my task and chose three at once. The most difficult thing was to convey the sufficiently detailed and high-tech costumes of the heroes, to achieve similarities, to convey…

Apollo 11

One small step of a person - and a huge leap of mankind … Neil Armstrong, first man on the Moon, 1969. We need to move on in a kind of challenge "Draw every day, so as not to go crazy during the world quarantine and learn something new." This time I decided to draw something completely from scratch, fast enough and schematic enough to work out the very technique of drawing with a tablet.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Review (2018 -2020, Netflix)

Sabrina Spellman is a high school student at Baxter School, a smart and persistent girl who is friends with two other renegade girls, meets the son of a miner, loves fun and horror movies. She would not be any different from other schoolgirls if she were not a hereditary witch from an ancient family. Soon she will turn sixteen and her aunts, domineering Zelda and timid Hilda, insist that she undergo the Black Baptism ritual…

Liara and Shepard (Mass Effect)

I continue to get used to drawing with a tablet. It seems that something is starting to work out. This time, I decided to choose one of my favorite video game heroines - Liara T'Soni, an alien archaeologist from the Mass Effect series. When I started sketching, I realized that it was impossible to do without the main character, Captain Shepard himself / herself (especially since my wife and I always choose a female protagonist…

Fluttershy (MLP:FiM)

I seem to have finally begun to figure out how to draw correctly on a tablet. Here's the algorithm: Drawn in Photoshop on a Wacom One tablet. On the left is an approximate drawing time-lapse. I am glad that after long and unsuccessful attempts I managed to find this algorithm by trial and error. Now I feel like I can draw almost anything - and it will only get better.

Conquerors of the Planets (Single, 2020)

The first musical composition made after a break of several years. In this track, I tried to combine several visual styles (2010`s trap and 1980`s beats) and convey the poetics of early 50`s science fiction. Perhaps it will make a whole small album. Below is the YouTube version of this song. Do you think it is worth making a full-fledged animated clip on it (now I used archival footage from NASA)?

Star Wars: Skywalker. Rise Of Skywalker Review

Thirty years ago, the Galactic Empire collapsed after the Rebellion defeated Endor. The Emperor perished, the second Death Star was destroyed, and the dawn of the New Republic rose. A former farmer from a sandy planet, in memory of his teacher, revived the Jedi Order, his sister returned to politics, and her lover and his furry friend continued their travels across the vast universe. But the Empire was not completely destroyed. A new generation of…

Destiny 2 (Curse of Osiris + Warmind + Forsaken + Shadowkeep) Review

It's XXVIII century. Humanity has long settled in the near space, met other races, divided into species and experienced the most important event in its history: a meeting with the Wanderer, an inanimate object wandering from star to star, invisibly changing life around him. A giant whitish ball hovering over the Earth saved people from death, and the Golden Age of history began, full of incredible discoveries and achievements. To protect itself from the darkness…
